What a night to remember! On Thursday, 12th June, we opened the gates to one of South Norfolk’s best kept secrets, the beautiful Orchard Barn and Garden at Applewood Hall, for a truly unforgettable evening: The Sunset Social.
Billed as “not your typical summer garden party,” the event absolutely lived up to its promise. From 4pm to 8pm, over 110 guests from businesses across the region came together to enjoy an afternoon of relaxed networking, vibrant entertainment, delicious canapés, and a steady stream of summer-inspired drinks.
The atmosphere was electric, laughter rang out across the garden, friendly competition bubbled over the casino tables, and spontaneous conversations sparked between strangers who left as new connections. Lawn games added a playful twist to the evening, while the venue itself with its blooming gardens and rustic charm offered the perfect backdrop to unwind and connect.
We were incredibly proud to partner with Applewood Hall and SLM Group in making this event so special. And of course, heartfelt thanks to Applewood Hall for not only hosting but helping to set the tone for a truly warm, welcoming experience.
Thank you to Bill Downs a talented local singer-songwriter for his captivating acoustic set, featuring a mix of popular covers and original songs. This provided the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed evening of informal networking.
To everyone who attended: thank you. Your energy, openness, and presence turned The Sunset Social into an experience.
The success of this event has left us buzzing with ideas and yes, we’re excited to reveal that we’re already exploring plans for a “Santa Social” this winter. Expect something magical, festive, and just as full of heart.
