Impactful Marketing for Your Events

2002 we designed our first exhibition stand graphics – it was the year Naked started and the project was our 51st job, for Gurney Reeve (Now Suton Machinery) attending an event at the NEC. Over two decades we’ve built expertise across both print and digital design, ensuring that your brand not only captures attention but leaves a lasting impression on visitors.

We understand that your event stand is more than just a visual; it’s a reflection of your company and brand. Our designs are carefully crafted to be eye-catching, professional, and true to your message. We can help guide on key information that needs to be featured on your stand graphics, ensuring that your message is not only clear but also engaging and compelling.

We also recognise that event stands are a significant investment, that’s why we design with reusability in mind. Our goal is to create materials that can be easily adapted and repurposed for future events, maximising the return on your investment. Plus, our strong relationships with printers and suppliers ensure you receive the best quality and value.

Upcoming event? Here’s a few of our top tips –

  • Offer interactive elements: Incorporate interactive elements such as demos, touchscreens, or games to attract and engage visitors. This not only makes your stand more appealing but also sparks conversation and provides a memorable experience.

  • Keep it simple: Don’t be tempted to recreate your website or brochure in stand form – reduce content to be clear branding and key information only, to lure the attention of passing visitors.

  • Capture data: Have a clear and simple system in place for collecting leads, whether it's through business cards, digital forms, or QR codes. Ensure follow-up plans are well-organised and prompt.

  • Provide takeaways: Offer high-quality, branded giveaways or literature that attendees can take with them – to keep your brand top-of-mind after the event. Items that are in some way useful or unique are less disposable and more likely to ‘stick around’.
  • Think beyond the stand graphic: A clean, professional space reflects well on your brand and makes it more inviting.

  • Monitor traffic and adjust: Pay attention to which aspects of your stand attract the most attention. You’ll know for future events to highlight these more prominently.

  • Utilise social media: Promote your stand on social media before and during the event. Encourage visitors to check in, share their experiences, and tag your brand to increase your visibility.

  • All in good time: A show-stopping stand comes together with thought and consideration – so a bit of preparation time. Don’t be left cobbling together at the last minute, give yourself the best chance to do your brand justice.
