Naked and YANA make
YANA is a volunteer-run charity organisation, helping rural communities and those working in agriculture. YANA helps to build a better understanding of mental health as well as providing training and confidential support. Whilst roots are in Norfolk, the charity is spreading and to aid that growth YANA invested in developing their brand identity. The existing identity was restrictive and lost in the sea of green that was agricultural-related services branding. It was time to stand out and shout louder about the greatness of YANA.
After a workshop with YANA, Naked proposed that YANA become thought of as ‘every rural person’s companion’. Those time you feel alone, YANA is there. We created a brand around that idea - designing a bold logo that would stand out amongst a crowd of rural services and on closer inspection would reveal that idea of companionship.
Our proposal and supporting designs were met with overwhelming positivity, with comments such as “You just got us, thank you” genuinely warming our hearts. The organisation has continued to raise in profile, with expansion to new areas and continued support from those who care deeply out rural mental health. The Tractor Facts leaflets and Rural Directories have spread far and wide across the country, even meeting Royal approval.
