Wymondham College

Social Media Marketing Design for digital Analytics & reporting

Wymondham College came to Naked with a clear goal: to attract more boarding enquiries. This was their first ever digital marketing campaign, so they needed a strong creative and some guidance along the way.

With a limited budget, a few competing priorities between the College team and the wider Trust, and only a small set of images to work with, the project called for a good mix of strategy, creativity and clarity.

Getting everyone on the same page

Right from the start, we kept things open and simple. We worked out who needed to be involved, agreed on what mattered most, and built a plan everyone could follow. Regular updates, quick check-ins and honest chats meant there were no surprises. We also made sure reporting was easy to understand so the College could see how things were going in real time without the marketing jargon.

With limited photography to use, our design team added energy through motion and animated typography, helping the ads stand out in busy social feeds. We produced a mix of creative variations, each tailored to different platforms and audiences, to keep engagement high. Every round of feedback helped refine things until the creative felt spot-on with the College’s brand and ambitions.

Campaigns that delivered

We supported Wymondham College with digital advertising on Google and Meta, all focused on attracting new boarding students.

WC Google ad

The three Google Ad campaigns we ran, targeting London, Norfolk and the Caribbean Islands, generated 92,000 impressions. With such targeted placements, this provided the College with strong, meaningful visibility, reaching the right audience while making the most of the budget. The 2.77% click-through rate shows that around 3 out of every 100 viewers engaged with the ads, performing above the typical Google benchmark of 5.74 for education*. And at £19 per conversion, each new potential boarding lead was secured cost-effectively, demonstrating excellent value for the College.

WC Meta ad

The two Meta campaigns focused on London and Norfolk and delivered a significantly higher 590,000 impressions. This broad exposure helped build awareness across social platforms, ensuring the College stayed visible to a large, relevant audience. The 0.77% click-through rate shows that roughly 1 in 130 viewers clicked through which is a strong result considering users are casually scrolling rather than actively searching. With each conversion costing £10.50, the campaigns provided the College with highly cost-efficient leads while maximising reach and engagement across social media.

Real results and a confident next step

Driving over 7,000 visits to the website

Even with a modest budget, the campaign drove over 7,000 visits to the website and delivered a strong return on investment. Just as importantly, it gave Wymondham College the confidence to make digital marketing a key part of their future plans. For us, it showed how a friendly, transparent approach can turn a first-time campaign into a lasting success story.
