Opportunities rise in the east
The campaign was built around a simple geographic fact: Norfolk and Suffolk catch the morning sun before anywhere else in the country. That first-light idea became the region's creative platform for UKREiiF, bold sun graphics and colour gradients positioning the region as forward-thinking, ambitious and full of opportunity.
The same idea ran everywhere: the microsite, a LinkedIn content programme, a stakeholder toolkit, stand panels and digital screens, all built to build awareness ahead of the event, promote key speakers, and drive visits to the Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited pavilion.
A campaign built to convert
Event marketing works differently to a normal campaign. People aren't idly scrolling, they're at UKREiiF to make decisions: who to meet, where to invest, which region actually has something to say. That meant the messaging couldn't just build a nice impression in the background, it had to earn a moment of attention and turn it into an action, whether that was visiting the pavilion, catching a speaker, or looking twice at the opportunity on offer.
So we treated the creative and the content differently depending on the job it had to do. Broader, sunrise-led visuals built the identity and made Norfolk and Suffolk instantly recognisable across the event. Alongside that, sharper, more direct messaging did the practical work: clear invitations, timely nods to speakers and agenda moments, content that felt like it was written for someone stood in the room right now rather than someone scrolling at home. We also leaned on voices from within the business itself rather than only page-led posts, on the basis that people trust a person more readily than a brand, especially in a room full of other brands trying to do the same thing.
The result is a distinctive presence for Norfolk & Suffolk Unlimited at UKREiiF 2026, and a clear foundation to build on for future place-marketing campaigns.
